The Texas Christian Athletic League, an organization dedicated to promoting Christian values through sports, offers a supportive and nurturing environment where student athletes can develop their skills and character to become successful champions both on and off the field.
Team TCAL
Since 1991, TCAL, founded by Dr. Gilbert Perez, has been the governing body for Christian, Catholic, Private, Charter, and Homeschool sports in Texas and beyond. We proudly adhere to NFHS guidelines and are led by Regional Chairpeople overseeing our four Texas regions. Our committees, led by league coaches, shape activities, team alignments, and classifications. Excitingly, TCAL is expanding nationally as "THE Christian Athletic League," offering schools across America the opportunity to compete at the highest level. We are driven by the belief that God's Standard is Excellence. Join us on this exceptional journey!
